The assistant can only be as specific as the material it has. Everything on this page is optional, and each piece makes the results less generic.
Your website link is the fastest start
Paste the address of your site and ask for a brand profile. The assistant reads the site and writes down how the business sounds, what it sells, who it sells to and a few taglines in that voice.
That takes about a minute and pays for itself immediately: every later request is written against that profile, so you stop describing your tone in every message.
No website? A description works
A few lines are enough. What you sell, who buys it, what you want people to feel about it. “A neighbourhood bakery, mostly regulars, warm and unfussy, we do not do trendy” gives the assistant more to work with than most websites do.
You do not need a brand book, a logo or a style guide to start.
Your logo and colours
If you have brand colours, give them — either the exact codes or just “our green is the dark bottle green from the logo”. If you have a logo, upload it.
This matters mainly for visuals. Once the assistant knows your colours, banners and post images come back in them instead of in whatever looked good by default.
Your product photos
Use Upload files next to the message box to add pictures of the actual thing you sell. This is the one piece of material nothing can replace: a photo of your bread is not the same as a photo of bread.
On a paid plan the assistant can work on an uploaded photo directly — turn it into a post with the caption attached, or put the same product on a different background.
Existing texts you like
If you already have a post, a page or an email that sounds right, paste it in and say “match this tone”. Showing an example is faster and more accurate than trying to describe a voice in adjectives.
The same trick works in reverse: paste something you dislike and say what is wrong with it.
What not to paste
The site’s own privacy policy is blunt about this, and it is worth repeating: do not paste secrets. No passwords, no API keys, no access codes.
Do not paste your customers’ personal data either — names, phone numbers, addresses, order details with people attached. If you want help replying to a specific customer, describe the situation instead of pasting their message with their details in it.
Your chat messages are processed by outside AI providers to produce the answer. That is normal and it is how every assistant of this kind works, but it means a chat box is not the place for anything you would not email.

You have given it your material and it has written something back. Using What You Get covers what to do with the result — and what to check before it goes anywhere public.
